With the upcoming season right around the corner, this course is the perfect opportunity to get your pitching mechanics tuned up and ready to get back on the field!
Description:
Over the course of the next 8 weeks, we will go over fundamental pitching skills combined with movement patterns that will allow a pitcher to use her body more effectively and efficiently. We will progress into locating our pitches and changing speeds while also dedicating some of our time to strengthening our mental side of the game. This course is open to all pitchers between the ages of 10 and 14 – each pitcher must bring their own catcher.
Our Academy will be led by Coach Mary Connolly. Coach Mary is a homegrown Chicago talent that competed at DePaul University and professionally in Europe. Following her playing career she went on to become the pitching coach at North Central College & the University of Illinois at Chicago. Currently, Coach Mary is a local softball instructor throughout the Chicagoland area.
